orSlow
In 2005 Japanese designer Ichiro Nakutsa started orSlow in response to the disturbing rise in fast fashion. The idea was to take a painstaking, considered approach to crafting clothing that was beautiful, hardwearing, and impervious to passing trends. Ichiro takes the time to cull inspiration from his vast archive of workwear and military garments, develops custom-milled fabrics, and focuses on handmade production to ensure that each garment reflects orSlow’s original philosophy.
